The focus on the movement of the hips and legs whilst in a supine position really teaches the practitioner the necessary engagements to truly understand what is required in many fundamental yoga transitions. The understanding learnt in this practice can help considerably once returning to a generic sequence. This practice is ideal for practitioners from all backgrounds, especially if you're just starting yoga.
